Accessibility
Last updated: November 2, 2026.
We want everyone to be able to use SAI, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice, captions or zoom. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we have checked
On November 2, 2026 we checked every page of the site (except the archived earlier versions of our legal documents) and three signed-in screens (a new chat, Settings and Workspace) with an automated tool (axe-core, using the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules), and moved through each one using only a keyboard, in one desktop browser. That check found two problems: a link shown only by its colour, and a typing box that did not show a clear outline when it had keyboard focus. We fixed both and ran the check again, and it found no problems. The same check now runs before every new version of SAI is released.
An automated tool finds only some barriers. We have not yet had a full expert audit, tested SAI with people who use screen readers and other assistive technology, or checked calls and messages this way, so we do not claim that SAI fully meets WCAG 2.1 AA.
What we do
- You can talk to SAI by typing or out loud, and SAI can answer in text, out loud, or both.
- We are working to give every button and control a name a screen reader can read, and to make all of SAI usable with a keyboard. If you find a place where that is not true, please tell us (below).
- SAI follows your device's reduced-motion setting, and you can turn motion down in Settings. Light or dark follows your device when you choose System in Settings.
Tell us about a barrier
If something in SAI is hard or impossible for you to use, please email support@talktosai.com with the page and what happened. We will reply and work on a fix, and we can help you with what you were trying to do in another way in the meantime.
